The Business Analyst / Product Owner works with our Product and Development teams to document requirements for new and existing products. You will play a key role in capturing stakeholder requirements and assisting with the design, development, and implementation of the resulting systems.

The Impact:

This role has a core impact to our technology group and to Commodity Insights as a whole. You

will gain a strong understanding of Commodity Insights products and platforms while you assist in the

development of new products and processes into our existing platforms.

The Career Opportunity:

Product Owners for Commodity Insights are well placed to become Product Managers of the products they help create. An individual excels at this role will be considered for promotion to the Product Manager role.

The Team / The Business:

This role will report into the APMO office and will collaborate closely with the wider

IT and Business teams and various stakeholders. A new member of this team will hit the ground running and

collaborate with his/her team members immediately.

What We're Looking For:

We are searching for a strong BA/PO who is highly motivated, process oriented,

methodical thinker with a keen eye for detail. This individual will be skilled at interviewing stakeholders,

facilitating requirements gathering sessions, and documenting the results to develop clear, accurate process

maps, user journeys, personas, etc. Once the project is assigned a team, they will be responsible for creating

and maintaining the team's product backlog.

Responsibilities:

Review existing documentation to understand basic standards required for the new product

Identify stakeholders who will be impacted by the new product

Interview stakeholders or their proxies to determine their requirements

Generate personas, process flows, user journeys and story maps

Generate Lean Business Case documentation, and Epics / Features / User Stories in ADO

Requirements:

Experience with Agile or SAFe Agile development framework and processes

Ability to clearly define and articulate processes and requirements

Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for digging into the details to define user stories, capabilities, and

impacts and coordinate delivery through Agile way of working

Ability to juggle multiple priorities

At least 5 years of strong working experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner

Ability to understand technical product challenges and contribute to defining and communicating solutions

A professional, highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and energetic personality, with the ability to work and

thrive in a team environment

Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Visio, Miro, and ADO a plus

Technical background a plus
