The Training Specialist in our Green Bay TNT facility will be supporting the creation, implementation, and ongoing upkeep of the formal employee training program. We are making an investment in our team through providing a more supportive training pathway for our team members. This is a full rebuild of the training program for all functions within the plant, beginning with the Operator roles. The Training Specialist will need to partner with stakeholders in a collaborative environment to ensure the requirements of all are met as the program is built, launched and maintained.

Relocation to Green Bay area will be required. This role is not remote eligible.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop, update, and sustain digital content related to job instruction through Connected Worker Platform
  • Facilitate and coach self-guided learning for front-line personnel utilizing Connected Worker Platform
  • Ensure quality, accessibility, and upkeep of learning and development plans.
  • Support plant strategies and plans to help achieve business performance goals.
  • Assist and provide coaching and mentorship in effective learning techniques and standard learning processes across all shifts.
  • Support the sites training community (development of coaches, best practice sharing, etc.).
  • Partner with the Human Resources team during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration into the company, including content delivery.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (e.g., black hats) to support content development processes in conjunction with learning principles
  • Partner with stakeholders to address and schedule learning needs across each function/shift.
  • Develop, update, and sustain training material and aids (e.g., JTAs, training manuals, videos, technology platforms, etc.).
  • Provide feedback to training program participants (e.g., trainers, trainees) and management (e.g., TLs, L&D Coordinator; Learning Business Partner).
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom, virtual, and in role learning.
  • Implement and manage learning technologies, programs, and equipment to enable effective learning experiences.
  • Track and report on training progress & outcomes (e.g., check-ins, qualification charts).
  • Support business unit by attending and contributing to production meetings, project meetings, team meeting, and other meetings as appropriate.
  • Participate with front line leadership team to help develop and drive capability building processes used throughout the plant.
  • Partner with the appropriate stakeholders to identify and address learning gaps of employees.
  • Maintain and manage records in accordance with applicable company, state, and federal regulations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in developing capabilities in others
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to assess needs, influence, collaborate, deliver with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Desire to continuously learn and improve individual skills
  • Ability to embrace and learn new technology

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Bilingual Spanish & English
  • Experienced with a Digital Coach learning strategy
  • Previous experience in dough production operations
  • Knowledge of processing and packaging manufacturing standards and processes
  • Project management experience
  • Strong results orientation
  • Technical aptitude

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Relocation to Green Bay area will be required. This role is not remote eligible.
  • International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.
