Position Summary:

The Food and Beverage Cost Controller is responsible for managing food and beverage costs effectively within an organization. This role involves working closely with the F&B team to monitor inventory levels, analyze costs, and create strategies for cost reduction while maintaining accurate records and providing financial reporting.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cost control procedures for all food and beverage operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure costs are within budget.
  • Collaborate with the F&B team to analyze costs and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Implement strategies like portion control, menu engineering, and waste reduction for cost reduction.
  • Keep precise records of food and beverage purchases, inventory, and costs.
  • Provide timely financial reports to management, including cost analysis and variance reporting.
  • Offer training and support to F&B staff on cost control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Support special projects assigned by management.

Occasional Duties:

  • Carry out any other necessary duties as assigned or required by business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in F&B cost control or related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost control software Adaco.
