Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Facilities Engineering Planning:
  • Refine, develop, and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with our FM platform strategy
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing client facilities to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
  • Project Leadership:
  • Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects related to facilities management, in partnership with out clients and inhouse project management vertical
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Serve as engineering subject matter expert for all technical projects
  • Maintenance and Operations:
  • Refine and maintain preventative maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality and safety of facilities, focused on reliability and life cycle cost analysis
  • Work with internal CMMS and Systems team to standardize PM data requirements
  • Implement efficient operational processes to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to address emergency situations promptly.
  • Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:
  • Drive initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability across facilities.
  • Oversee platform services offerings for sustainability services via inhouse and strategic partnerships
  • Evaluate and recommend green technologies to reduce the environmental impact of operations of our clients
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in sustainable facilities management.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the engineering department.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align facilities management strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with third-party service providers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, , or a relevant experience
  • Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on facilities management operations
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Diverse industry background in portfolios such as banking, industrial, manufacturing, data centers, etc.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Must be willing to travel 50%


Work Environment

Small-to-large office environment Fast paced office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
