Robotics Programmer

**Great full-time opportunity for a Robot Programmer in Bettendorf, IA** **Position Summary:** Work with the engineering and integration teams by preparing automation systems to customer order specifications. This includes working with the customer on application or process development, programming structures and functionality. **Responsibilities:** + Take initiative to meet challenging project timelines and hour budgets. + Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects to include commitment of travel for project success. + Coordinate front-end reach reviews to ensure success of robotic application. + Coordinate, implement and verify off-line programming efforts and online implementation of programming. + Work with Controls Engineers and HMI Programmers to ensure full functionality of the system. + Uphold company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives. + Installation and configuration of appropriate hardware and software options. + Assist in the integration, start-up, customer training and debugging of plant floor equipment. + Ability to improve cycle time and throughout by adjusting robot path or functions. **Experience / Skills:** + Prior Robot Programming experience with Fanuc. + Able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot wiring / communication issues. + High attention to detail and quality. + Aptitude for providing directions to peers within the department. + Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills. + Safely operate fork trucks and overhead cranes. + Ability to read and interpret weld symbols. + Skill in the use of computers, specifically a PC, Windows-based operating environment. + Able to gather data, compile information and prepare reports. + Able to develop and deliver presentations. + Commitment to company values. **Our client offers:** + A strong pay rate based upon experience and credentials. + A robust benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a 401K and paid-time-off + Career growth + Work/life balance **Pay Details:** $26.00 to $30.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to deccousa.com/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records subject to federal contractor requirements and/or security clearance requirements.
