About the Role:
At Reside Living, we're not just maintaining buildings; we're elevating living spaces. As our next Building Engineer, you're the superhero behind the scenes, ensuring our properties don't just stand but shine. This role is for the proactive problem-solver who thrives on keeping our environment safe, secure, and supremely comfortable for everyone who walks through our doors. You'll be the go-to guru, working hand-in-glove with the Property Manager, to not only tackle the expected but also to forecast and fix the unforeseen, making sure our residents aren't just satisfiedthey're delighted.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
Mastermind and execute a spectrum of maintenance marvels, from electrical wizardry to plumbing prowess, HVAC harmony, and carpentry craft, all while upholding our gold standard of service.
Champion a cutting-edge preventative maintenance strategy, designed to reduce downtime and uphold the highest safety standards.
Be the first responder to service requests and emergencies, delivering exceptional customer service that sets us apart.
Conduct meticulous inspections and keep detailed records that help us stay ahead of the curve in maintenance, budgeting, and inventory management.
Inspire and lead a team of maintenance maestros, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and excellence.
Collaborate with external contractors and vendors, ensuring seamless service that aligns with the Reside Living vision.
Oversee apartment turnovers with efficiency and flair, ensuring every unit is a welcoming home for new residents.
Stay on the pulse of industry innovation, embracing new standards, technologies, and green practices to boost our operational effectiveness.
What You Bring to the Team:
A relentless commitment to quality, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving puzzles.
Stellar communication skills, capable of building positive connections with residents, colleagues, and partners.
A tech-savvy toolkit, with a solid grasp of building systems and the versatility to handle a variety of tools and equipment safely.
Flexibility to join our on-call hero roster for emergencies and adapt to the dynamic needs of our properties.
A strong educational foundation, with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and EPA Certification (or readiness to certify within 90 days).
A rich background with 5-7 years in building maintenance or a related field, showcasing your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
