Position Type: Full - Time



Telework Potential: Must work full-time at Patuxent River for approximately 5-10 days (dependent on experience) before transitioning to 100% telework. Occassional travel (1-2 days per month) to Patuxent River, MD will be required for team and customer meetings.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinates, architects, and maintains docker container solutions
  • Modernizes applications into microservices and assists with implementing API management tools
  • Develops and manages effective deployment and migration strategies for software and application data through the deployment process (i.e. development, testing, staging and production environments)
  • Provides senior-level software development support; leadership and mentoring to team members
  • Other duties as assigned or required



Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

  • 10 years of experience providing web applications development support
  • Agile software development experience
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience

Security Clearance:

Active Secret clearance preferred. Interim secret acceptable to start. Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.



Education:

BS or BA degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics preferred
