Our Health Physicians and Health Hospital, located in Tarboro, NC, are seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics or Internal Medicine physician to join their Hospitalist program. New graduates and Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Highlights Include:

  • Employment by Health Physicians
  • Growing 9-hosptial healthcare system
  • Hospital privileges at Health Edgecombe Hospital
  • Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery and well newborn nursery (for Med-Peds trained physicians), daily rounding, admissions, discharges, vent management and intubation, central line placement and thoracentesis
  • 7 on 7 off Schedule -7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week
  • ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends
  • Established team of 6 hospitalist
  • Anticipated Volume is 15-20 patients
  • Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC
  • System-wide integrated EMR-EPIC
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Close proximity to and ability to live in nearby Greenville, NC

Health Hospital is a 117-bed acute care hospital located in Tarboro, North Carolina. As part of the Health system of care, the hospital offers high quality care provided by more than 20 medical specialties, rehabilitation services, a birthing center, a cancer center, outpatient clinics and more.
