Qualifications You must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice (or new grad PTA) You must have an Associates of Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Responsibilities Screening patients Documenting progress toward identified objectives Administering physical therapy services as directed by a registered physical therapist Conducting patient and family education Delivering quality physical therapy services Putting patient service first Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player You should be dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for each resident in an ethical, sensitive, and compassionate manner.
