The Senior Project Manager will lead the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) project that will develop the requirements and strategy to allow the Council to acquire and implement a comprehensive Council-wide Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution. The solution will provide a fully integrated technology platform able to support full asset lifecycle management and align with organizational policy and process improvements to drive a more consistent, efficient, effective and strategically focused asset management capacity for the Council. This will be done within the framework of the Business Process Systems Integration (BPSI) program and consider the linkages and interactions with the other systems and processes being developed by the program. Requirements of the role: Drive planning, execution and tracking of all project deliverables. Develop and administer the project budget in collaboration with the program managers and project sponsors. Coordinate the work of internal and external participants, stakeholders, and consultants or vendors to ensure successful completion of the projects. Be responsible for managing the development and implementation of the project that require collaboration and coordination with various work units. Manage Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) project managing resources and schedules to successful completion ensuring that projects meet scope, cost and quality requirements as determined in the planning stages. Identify resources needed and assign responsibilities, negotiating with other departments and/or units for resources if necessary. Communicate with project sponsors, program manager, change manager and stakeholders in all stages of the project through regular written and verbal communications to keep them updated on the progress and aware of next steps; provide project updates in front of large groups, including Senior Management. Collaborate with the other BPSI project managers and BPSI Program manager to identify how the EAM project will impact other projects. Additional Skills: Project Management Professional (PMP) Demonstrated experience managing projects with cross-matrix or cross functional teams. Systems engineering project management methodology. Demonstrated experience working with large ($20 million) Enterprise Asset Management projects. Ability to: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Lead teams providing direction, delegation and removing obstacles to get work done. Build consensus and motivate people to act and participate. Build strong customer relationships and delivery of customer-centric solutions. Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that concisely convey a clear understanding of the message to different audiences. Ability to handle conflict situations effectively with a minimum of noise. Skilled in: Demonstrated experience leading teams embracing change with a people first approach. Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations through change. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive working relationships with all levels of the enterprise. Demonstrated ability to prioritize human outcomes, including development of soft skills, instilling organizational values/norms and building safe space for a healthy challenge culture to develop.
