Detergents Production ManagerTommy's is looking for a Detergents Production Manager who will be responsible for detergent formulation and continuous improvement, product selection, production planning, continuous improvement, establishing/maintaining department best practices, and a variety of business facets focused on providing the best-in-class products to the car wash industry. Roll out of new products and proper communication to all parties involved company wide Management of criteria for the performance of each detergent in the lineup Management, tracking, and facilitation of product testing Creating and maintaining proper channels for stakeholders to provide feedback Detergent blending Working with hazmat chemicals Data entry Detergents support Detergents sales tracking and analysis Local wash site visits to run test product Lab work including a variety of methods to test and validate formulas/performance Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes: Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering or like field 5+ years experience in chemical engineering, production management, or related field Management experience Forklift experience Microsoft Office Experience Experience in Chemical Processing, Mixing, or Blending Excellent written and oral communication skills Work Environment & Physical Demands: This job operates in both a warehouse and professional environment.Proper attire and equipment is required for the safety of the team member when working in hazardous situations. The following physical demands must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Ability to push/lift 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require Ability to work in extreme temperatures Working in high noise levels requiring hearing protection Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints, and other hazardous chemicals.Able to work and commute in all weather conditions Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
