**Position Summary...** **What you'll do...** **About the Position and Team:** The position will provide accounting support for Walmart's Technology Organization including assessment of technology purchase contracts (sof t ware, hardware, professional services) to determine accounting treatment , consultation with business partners for new business initiatives, monthly close responsibilities, and review of account reconciliations . **You'll make an impact by:** + Providing accounting consultation to Finance Partners and other business partners on all accounting matters in according to global accounting policies. + Being responsible for accounting decisions related to month-end and quarter-end financial reviews. + Providing accounting support to the processes that impacts segment financial statement flows. + Supporting Financial Reporting with Quarter and Year-End external reporting requirements. + Performing timely account reconciliation reviews ensuring appropriate actions are taken in accordance with the Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation policy. + Driving transformation and simplification in alignment with the Global Controllership Pillars. **You'll sweep us off our feet if...** + You have demonstrated technical accounting experience . + You are experienced in Month-end close. + You have knowledge of how high-level accounting impacts business decisions. + You have demonstrated the ability to set up/improve accounting processes. + You have demonstrated proficiency in working cross-functionally. + You have demonstrated excellent ability to interface with and influence executives. + You're stimulated by challenges and are ready t o operate in Matrix organization with large volume/values of data . + You are familiar with accounting software including SAP , Blackline, etc. The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
