Description

The Memphis Sports & Events Center features indoor basketball and volleyball courts and is adaptable for other sports like wrestling, gymnastics, cheerleading, futsal, and more, as well as convocation, and commencement events. The Center also includes two cafe and a concessions areas while also offering catering and high volume boxed meals.

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our caf/concessions staff team. As a member of our cafe staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests while adhering to food safety standards and providing excellent customer service. We are also looking for back of house support to assist in the creation of quality food products.

Qualifications

Work Environment

All positions will work out of and report to the Memphis Sports & Events Center.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, moving through a limited space, and walking on various surfaces
  • Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
  • Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 25-40+ lbs.
