5F Mechanical is seeking a detail?oriented and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately managing multiple medium to large?scale projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of multiple projects from initiation to close?out, with ultimate responsibility for project cost, schedule, safety, and quality. This includes tracking financials and forecasting project performance for management. Manage project teams (PMs, engineers, superintendents, foremen, coordinators), providing guidance and resolving high?level issues; ensure all team members are aligned with project goals. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets; implement change management by evaluating changes, reviewing costs & proposals from PM/APMs, and approving/sending change orders for approval. Handle senior?level client communications and relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing concerns. Regularly report progress to clients and stakeholders and pursue opportunities for additional work. Negotiate and execute key contracts (subcontracts, equipment procurement) and oversee major project decisions. Lead high?level project meetings and ensure contractual obligations are met. Mentor and develop junior project management staff, promoting best practices in project planning, execution, and risk management across the department. Required Qualifications 8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical piping systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time?management skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 401(k) with company match. Paid time off and holidays.
