Industrial Machine Mechanic | 2nd & 3rd Shift | Terrace Park, OH

Under the direction and supervision of the team lead/master mechanic, runs assigned machines to produce daily production quotas. Troubleshoots and makes minor repairs to minimize machine downtime.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Maintain proper settings for machines.
•Troubleshoot machines to identify the cause of defects in the product.
•Make minor adjustments or repairs to auto-pack units.
•Perform established duties to machines in the assigned area to maintain production, scrap rates, and product quality.
•Consistently run standard production on 1 -2 machines, depending on the assigned area.
•Clean machines with shop rags & scrapers.
•Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•A high school diploma/ GED is preferred but not required.
•Must be willing to work well with others.
•Preferably has 1-3 years of a mechanical background.
•Preferably has a working knowledge of micrometers and calipers.
•Can accurately and efficiently record daily production numbers.

Requirements:
•100% of the time, must be able to work with various machines, hand tools, and equipment.
•Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
•Must be able to read and write proficiently.
•Must be able to obtain a material handling vehicle license.
•Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
•Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
•100% of the time, must be able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry +/- 75 pounds.
•Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance.
•Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back.
•100% of the time spent standing throughout the shift.

Schedule:

Second Shift: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am

Third Shift: Monday-Thursday 12am-8am

Pay:

$19-$20.50/hr paid weekly
