The IT Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the IT department. This role includes managing IT support, ensuring the smooth functioning of technology systems, and assisting with the implementation of IT projects. The IT Coordinator will work closely with various departments to provide technical support, manage IT assets, and contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices.
  • Asset Management: Track and manage IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including software upgrades and system migrations.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and applications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an IT support or coordination role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and various productivity tools.
  • Project Management: Ability to coordinate and manage IT projects effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.
