Position Title: Branch Manager
Location: Grand Junction, CO
Position Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for employee engagement, customersatisfaction, profitability, operational controls, health and safetyperformance and regulatory compliance. The function of this position is tosuccessfully achieve the financial goals and objectives of the entire Branch
Key Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and manage a team of direct reports including but not limitedto office support, warehouse staff and drivers.Assign and monitor clerical and administrative responsibilities and tasksamong office staff. Allocate available resources to enable successful taskperformance. Co-ordinate office staff activities to ensure maximum efficiency.Assign and supervise warehouse activity on order selection and loadverification meeting customer order requirements, ensuring the RightProduct, at the Right Time, and at the Right Place.
Evaluate and manage staff performance, which includes Coaching,Training, and Corrective Action as needed. Manage internal staff relationsin compliance with company policies and procedures and State and Federallaws.Responsible for control of operational expenses against budgeted goals.Partner with the ROC Leadership for budget planning for area ofresponsibility.
Responsible for daily fuel pricing in alignment with the pricing guides set byPricing Manager.Responsible for site warehouse inventory process, including proper receivingof product and month end inventory count.Responsible for daily tank readings and accurate PDI input.Monitor allocations with Suppliers, ensuring commitments are met andpenalties avoided.Partner with Sales Reps to strengthen customer relationships and operationalefficiency,Provide superior customer service including resolving those customer'scomplaints and inquiries which fall within operational control in a timelymanner, communicate outcomes and resolutions with Sales.Oversee and Manage all Safety Training, Safety Meetings, WPOs, andHazard ID. Ensure all safety and security issues are entered into Coritydaily, in accordance with policy and procedures. All incidents mustbe reported immediately to your supervisor.Ensure that confidentiality of business data and product pricing practices aremaintained.Manager is expected to set priorities and meet deadlines. Employee isresponsible for planning and carrying out assignments, resolving conflictsthat arise, informing and coordinating with others as expected. Manager isaccountable for ensuring the technical accuracy of their work and maintaininggood working relations, both internal and external.Self-direction and motivation are a standard requirement.Must meet performance expectations. Must complete all duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business related field OR High School Diploma or GEDequivalent. paired with a minimum of 3 or more years of experience in businessmanagement or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience.Proven skills in business and financial management.Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisisKnowledge of Microsoft Office.Knowledge of back-office software preferred, e., PDI, SAP, Oracle etc.Minimum of three years of experience in business management, planning andfinancial oversight.A minimum of three years experience in personnel management, includinghiring, supervision, corrective actions and performance managementevaluations.Strong analytical skills and the ability to recognize opportunities to improvethe business results and/or profitability.Record of success driving an efficient and profitable department.
