Lead Patient Services Specialist

Job DescriptionUnder general direction, this position handles all incoming calls by screening, transferring, and answering questions appropriately, timely, and efficiently. Takes accurate and appropriate messages, assists and greets patients/visitors in a friendly and courteous manner, check patients in and out, and distributes mail, faxes, etc.; assists the department with various duties as needed. In addition, the Front Office Lead may assist in overseeing the front office operations, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure, orientation/training of new employees; participate in evaluation process and maintaining a professional environment.Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.
