Title: Wireless Engineer
Location: Englewood, CO (Remote) PST
Duration: 12+ month contract

Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
•15+ years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of wireless networking solutions, preferably within a carrier grade WiFi environment.
•10+ years of hands-on experience in the design, development, and implementation of wireless networking solutions, preferably within a carrier grade WiFi environment.
•Demonstrated expertise in WiFi technologies, including in-depth understanding of 802.11 standards (e.g., 802.11be, 802.11ax, 802.11ac).
•Experience with WiFi security protocols (WPA2, WPA3, etc.) and a strong understanding of wireless security best practices.
•Strong foundation in network engineering principles, including IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DSCP, routing, and switching.
•Proficiency with network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, spectrum analyzers, ).
•Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
•Prior participation in WiFi Alliance activities or other industry standards bodies.
•Track record of defining requirements, delivering hardware and software designs, and developing features for WiFi gateways/devices.
•Knowledge and experience with embedded software languages (e.g. C) and tools, build systems, cross compilers, embedded Linux kernels and hardware abstraction layers.
•Understanding of OpenWRT, experience working with wireless protocol stacks and data models, and familiarity with the Linux connectivity stack.
•Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation and data analysis.
