This specific role will be serving the Oncology area.The Pharmacist Specialist - Oncology position will help support our acute care oncology team with opportunities to work in an environment with exposure to adult and pediatric patients with varied oncologic needs. At Nebraska Medicine, the Oncology Pharmacist Specialist serve as leaders in this specialty area by working closely with medical teams to provide the highest quality of patient care. Our oncology pharmacy team members are dedicated to continual quality improvement initiatives of the department and organization and engage in the organization's academic mission by engaging in teaching and precepting of students and residents.Applicants with the following experience will be given priority consideration: Completion of an Oncology PGY2 or fellowship required OR Completion of a PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years of experience as an oncology clinical specialist OR Minimum of 5 years of experience as an oncology clinical specialist or equivalent. Board certification in oncology pharmacy (BCOP) would be expected to be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
