Overview:

Lorien Mount Airy is looking to hire a Porter / Floor Tech to join our existing cleaning staff. As a Floor Technician, you are a vital part of our Environmental Services team, providing daily care to our building all while making sure our residents live in an clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily floor care services
  • Clean common areas- bathrooms, lobby, and additional shared spaces
  • Gather and take out garbage
  • Restock supplies and put away inventory orders
  • Utilize equipment to scrub and polish flooring, as well as shampoo carpets
  • Adhere to strict safety & health requirements
  • Trash collection
Qualifications:
  • Full Time Hours
  • Schedule: 7a-3:30p
  • Every-other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)

Lorien Mount Airy is located right off Interstate 70 in Carroll County, MD and within close proximity of Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery Counties. In fact, the Town of Mount Airy encompasses portions of all four counties This makes for a quick and easy commute from many directions. Our facility includes assisted living, long-term care, and skilled nursing/sub-acute rehabilitations. We also have ventilator care with a respiratory therapist on-site. Recently voted Best Short Term Rehab, Long Term Care by US News & World Report 2022.
