Night Time Material Handler

Tracking Code 13000-159 Job Description Qualifications:

Ability to read basic measurement tools and ability to read and follow proper work instructions.?

Position Summary: Supports production with raw materials and/or work-in process as required by specific production jobs.

Position Responsibilities:

Replace wooden pallet with plastic pallet and aerate loads prior to printing, based on production schedule.?

? Re-aerate loads at pressmans request.? Return special skids to appropriate department.? Communicate required information to co-workers and manager.? Assist helper when required.? Follow department and company policies and procedures.? Follow safety rules and regulations? Report all food safety and quality problems to the Department Lead, Manager or the Quality Team.? May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.?

Overall Physical Demands

Vision:

The ability to identify quality defects with relation to quality of color, visual comparison of approved color sample, quality audits by visual inspection including reading job specifications, labels and job file jackets in addition to transferring written information of critical job related information from paperwork to white boards.

Audio:

The ability to diagnose, trouble shoot equipment by early detection and sound of machine while in operation.

Aerator

Essential Job Function 1

The Deliver product to the desired department.

The Aerator will use the hand truck to bring the pallet of sheets the Desired Department.

Material Handling Occasional Frequent Constant

Distances and Heights

The Aerator will occasionally have to replace the wooden pallet with a plastic pallet this may involve handling 40-52 pound pallet. Placing at waist to shoulder height on an occasional basis. The Aerator will perform frequent walking with use of the hand truck to deliver finished product to the Feeder Printers. This can involve occasional bending, frequent forward reaching, and frequent simple grasping. Firm grasping done on an occasional basis to handle pallets.
