THE MANAGER, FP&A POSITION

As Manager of FP&A, you will work with the FP&A leadership, the CFO, CEO, and other members of the leadership team, serving a pivotal role in decision support, working across departments / functional groups to provide a wide range of key metrics forecasts, variance analysis, and reporting.

MANAGER, FP&A RESPONSIBILITIES

•Supports corporate budgeting and planning processes

•Conducts variance analysis on actuals vs forecast and forecast vs forecast; conducts trend analysis

•Produces short- and long-term forecasts for key metrics, including with sensitivities

•Builds and maintains models for GAAP and non-GAAP financial and operational metrics

•Assists with month- and quarter-end reporting and analysis, including preparation of board reports, supporting analysis for SEC reporting, and investor relations requests

•Process improvement - actively develop ways to improve systems, reports, and models; move excel models to a systems-based approach, and point out needed upstream IT/data improvements

•Manages and coaches professional FP&A staff that efficiently serves stakeholders

•Ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor's in Business, Accounting or Finance

•Proven track record as a Manager, FP&A or in a similar leadership capacity. 5+ years' experience with accountability for managing direct reports

•Able to master new financial / information systems quickly, along with a high proficiency in Excel

•Strong understanding of accounting principles and overall business/commercial operations

•Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing top talent

•Excellent emotional intelligence (EQ), communication and presentation skills

•Legally authorized to work in the US for ANY employer

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Experience with CPM / planning tools like OneStream and Vena

•Experience in renewable energy

•MBA / CFA

•Tableau and/or Salesforce experience a plus

•Experience with structured finance, asset-level debt and tax equity waterfalls structures
