TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Edison, New Jersey, 08818 About The Position Weekly Pay Range - $2164 To $2404 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Critical Care Unit (CCU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Every Other Weekend Required; Holidays as Needed, No On Call Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Experience: 2 years of strong experience in ICU/CCU and Med/Surg required License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or Multi-State Compact License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (can be obtained after acceptance but prior to start) - Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred Must-Have: - Experience in critical care and a background in Med/Surg - Strong knowledge of complex cardiac care, preferably including balloon pumps - Must be highly reliable and prioritize this position - Must be willing to float to any unit within the hospital Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments - Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnosis, and functional health framework - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care - Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model - Care for COVID-19 patients as needed - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Schedule Notes: - Worker will float to any unit in the hospital, including MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step Down units as needed. 25925736EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Different healthcare facilities may have varying nursing policies and procedures.
