Description of the role:

As a Janitorial staff member at Wichita Falls Ford, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness across the facilities inside and outside. Your main duty will be to ensure that all areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces, are kept in a clean and organized condition.
Responsibilities:
  • Clean, sanitize, and dust all assigned areas, including floors, windows, fixtures, and surfaces.
  • Empty and dispose of trash and recycling materials.
  • Maintain and replenish supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions with special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
