Job Overview
We're in search of a Healthcare Finance Analyst who is adaptable and meticulous, proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems. The perfect candidate will have a solid foundation in healthcare finance and accounting, along with the capacity to dissect data from different EMR platforms. This position entails enhancing financial results by harmonizing revenue cycle procedures with accounting standards and guaranteeing smooth integration between financial systems and EMR platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Data Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data related to revenue cycle processes, ensuring precision and adherence to accounting standards.
- EMR-RCM-Finance Integration:
- Establish seamless integration between EMR and finance/accounting systems, fostering a unified flow of financial data.
- Collaborate with the data and finance teams to facilitate efficient financial reporting and analysis.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of budgets and forecasts, incorporating insights gleaned from EMR and RCM data.
- Offer financial projections based on identified trends within electronic medical records.
- Financial Reporting:
- Produce comprehensive financial reports and dashboards, spotlighting key performance indicators relevant to revenue cycle management.
- Deliver presentations of financial findings to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for financial enhancement.
- Compliance and Financial Controls:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards within the healthcare sector.
- Implement and oversee financial controls to prevent errors and discrepancies in financial and EMR data.
- Training and Support:
o Provide training and assistance to finance and accounting teams regarding the integration of EMR and RCM data into financial processes.
o Serve as a liaison between the finance team and healthcare informatics teams to address any challenges related to system integration.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
•Proven experience in healthcare finance, accounting, and EMR/RCM analysis.
•Experience with NextGen, ModMed, IMS, or eCW is preferred
•Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and techniques.
•Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes and their financial implications.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
•Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.
