As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our skilled nursing facility. About the Role As a Weekend Supervisor RN/LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents and performing day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. You will work closely with our Director of Nursing Services, Assistant Director of Nursing Services, and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring. Perform day-to-day nursing activities, such as charting, reporting, and communicating with healthcare teams. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Avante's policies and procedures. Requirements Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing. Ability to speak and understand English. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and laws governing long-term care. Positive attitude toward the elderly.
