Schedule Shifts consist of straight days from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, including every other weekend and holidays. Job Description The General Observation Nurse plays a crucial role in monitoring patients' physical conditions in a high patient turnover environment, primarily focusing on those transitioning from the Emergency Department to inpatient care. This role involves providing basic nursing care and ensuring the early detection of potential health issues. Responsibilities Continuously monitor vital signs and assess patients' overall physical condition. Administer medications and provide assistance with daily living activities. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care plans. Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions requiring urgent care. Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a safe healthcare environment. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an observation or related field. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Ohio State Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Why ARMStaffing?
