Material Handler

Accredo Packaging is seeking a qualified **Material Handler**. This position is located in Sugar Land, TX and will report to the Warehouse Manager.
The Material Handler is responsible for processing materials requests in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that production has the materials needed to fulfill customer orders.
**Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:**
* Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
* Processes material requests/returns.
* Scans movements.
* Pulls/stores material by operating a narrow aisle truck (swing reach/turret stock picker).
* Transports material by operating a forklift.
* Conducts inventory.
* Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
**The ideal candidate shall possess the following:**
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Basic computer skills. Experience with web-based software and ERP systems required.
* Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions.
* Minimum of 3 year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required.
* 12-hour shift work experience required.
* Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
