PM Shift operates on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 7PM-7AMSUMMARY Responsible for the efficient, accurate and consistent processing of all raw materials needed for the quality production of personal care products manufactured to customer specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude but not limited to the categories listed below.Duties and Responsibilities also encompass other functions as needed and assigned.Mix, compound, process, test, adjust and modify ingredients to successfully carry out and complete the manufacturing process of the many personal care products produced.Continually communicate with the Compounding Supervisor/Manager and staff to ensure production of top quality finished goods.Responsible for consistent observance of GMP, SOP and Safety ProceduresCheck and review in-process production to ensure compliance with customer specificationsMaintain proper handling and storage of materials needed for productionEnsure that all OSHA, Safety Regulations, Labor Laws, and other governmental statutes are followed and obeyedCarry out inspection assignments of all production equipment to safeguard Company profits by maintaining equipment in good and safe working conditionResponsible for consistent observance of GMP, SOP and Safety ProceduresAttend all Company training encompassing GMP, SOP, SAFETY and cross training to expand employee capabilities.Other duties may be signed.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school graduate or GED equivalent required.Minimum of two (2) years experience in Compounding.Compounding experience in a cosmetic company preferred.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively communicate with/and answer questions from supervisors, managers, co-workers, customers and general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Knowledge in basic Math skills required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.REASONING ABILITY Must be able to common sense understanding to carry out instructions.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Forklift CertificationPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
