Job Description
Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC)/Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Job Duration: 15 weeks
Shift: 8-hour Day Shift, 7 AM - 3 PM, Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year
License: CNA License
Certifications: BLS

Must-Have:
- Prior experience with PointClickCare (PCC)

Job Description:
- Perform vital signs monitoring.
- Pass meal trays and provide dining room assistance, including feeding and monitoring.
- Assist with intake and output charting, turning, bathing, and linen changes.
- Tidy resident rooms as needed and assist with all other activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Document activities, behavior, and toileting as required.
- Assist with oxygen therapy as needed and participate in shift reports.
- Support restorative care plans, including ambulation, use of adaptive equipment, and splinting.
- Escort or assist residents to appointments as needed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, social workers, and dieticians.
- Work with oxygen therapy equipment, including CPAP and BiPAP machines.
- Flexible scheduling with an option for additional weekend work.
- Holiday work required based on schedule, defined two weeks in advance.
- Consistent work areas with potential for assignments in different areas as needed.
- Professional appearance in clean scrubs (except camouflage).

This position does not require a BSN and does not have on-call or standby requirements. A three-day unit/department-specific orientation is provided.
