Registered Nurse (RN), Job, Part-Time Flex, 8-hour Night Shift, Critical Care Unit Signature Healthcare’s Brockton Hospital is hiring for a Part-Time Flex, 8-hour Night Shift, Registered Nurse (RN) for the Critical Care Unit in Brockton, MA. Registered Nurse (RN) Roles and Responsibilities: + Assessment: collects relevant patient health data (age-specific pertinent to specialty area). + Diagnosis: analyzes the assessment data in determining nursing diagnoses. + Outcome identification: identifies individualized, expected outcomes for patient. + Planning/Implementation: develops and implements Plan of Care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes. + Evaluation: evaluates and documents the patient’s progress toward attaining expected outcomes in the patient medical record. + Provide nursing care to assigned patients. + Administers prescribed medication and intravenous solutions in a safe manner. + Reports significant alterations in patient’s condition to physician. + Counsels, educate, and includes patients and their families in accordance with the overall plan of care. + Assists patient and family in coping with stress accompanying illness; offering solace and support to the dying. + Quality of Care: systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Required + Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Maybe a beginning practitioner. + Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse. Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers completion. Preferred + Software/Hardware: Meditech experience preferred. + One year critical care experience preferred. + One year ventilator experience preferred.
