Knit Machine Technician

Responsibilities include checking for worn, loose and damaged parts, checking tension, changing needles, trouble shoot quality defects, handle non-conforming doffs, inputting information in computer, maintaining a routine set of machines, completely machine checklists. Each associate is responsible for their own safety.
Machines, tool, and equipment used:

Hand Tools, Hoses, Feeler Gauge, Carts, Toolbox, Floodlights, Ladders, Barco, Hoist/Power Truck, Jacks, Knit Machine, Wrenches, Cams, Needles, Primos, Memminger, Belts

Materials Used:

Plastic, Tape, Rubber Bands, Pen/Pencil, Wire, Cleaning Solution, Cut Tickets, Brushes, Oil, Light Bulbs, Shop Towels, Grease

Job Requirements:

Ability to read & write, comprehend written & verbal instructions, Good organizational skills, Ability to perform various computer operations, Ability to prioritize tasks, Ability to work in a team environment, Basic math skills, Good visual perception, Good interpersonal relationship skills.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED - Mandatory

2 years above High School Education/Training - Preferred

Other Requirements:

Must submit to & pass a drug screen. Must comply with all company rules, including but not limited to safety, attendance & other job specifications.
