Nurse Practitioners are tasked with embodying the core values and mission statement of the facility, operating as seasoned, full-time professionals within the organization. Working under the guidance of the Medical Director, they provide primary care services aligned with their training to patients. This care is tailored for an outpatient, primary care setting serving a diverse community with varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Join our growing Team What is in it for you?Selection of Medical, dental & vision plansFSA, EAP, Training & development, Vendor DiscountsEmployee engagement, fun activities and family outingsGenerous PTO for an optimum work life balanceHoliday, personal, sick, bereavement & Civic duty leaveLife Insurance, LT/ST Disability , Voluntary Life and AD&DAmazing Culture, Training and Development for your successVarious locations to choose fromResponsibilities: Provides examines, diagnoses and treats patients of the age group appropriate to clinic/service line assignment and provider's certification/privilegesComplete medical charts after each visit in the electronic medical records systemApplies for and obtains staff privileges at community hospitals in the area as recommended/required by LSCCProvide quality medical care according to (disease) guidelines, standards and policies established by LSCCAttend internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and participate on task forces or committees, when necessary and as requiredAll other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Medical DirectorOperations: Provide quality medical care according to standards established by LSCCAssist and participate in internal quality control auditsPractice in accordance with the LSCC Delegation Protocol/Collaborative Practice Agreement; establish medical diagnoses for patients that are within the scope of practice, and order or prescribe legend drugs and medical devices as authorized by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners (BNE) under Rules 221 and 222, and the Texas Medical Board (TMB) under Rules 2 and 193.6Type in specific job duties under this areaFulfill established guidelines set in place for provider encounter levelsAchieve and maintain LSCC Core Clinical CompetenciesPerform all duties and services in full compliance with LSCC's Quality StandardsActively monitor and engaged in hitting their productivity and quality metricsActively engaged in hitting their productivity and quality metricsMeet or exceed budgeted provider encounter targetsAttend internal and external meetings, workshops, conferences, and participate on task forces or committees, when necessary and as required.Qualifications: Must Haves: Current Registered Nurse and Advance Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of TexasDEA as required by Service lineNurse Practitioner Board CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)DEA as required by Service lineMaintain continuing education as required by licensing and any applicable accrediting boards, maintenance of certification if applicable, and completes additional educational units as required by LSCC (e.g., risk management courses).Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSE:Two (2) years experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a healthcare clinical setting Family Medicine preferredPrevious work and proficiency using electronic medical records (EMR)Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are preferred but not requiredEliteHire is a reputable Direct Hire Agency that specializes in recruiting and placing candidates for permanent positions on behalf of our clients.
