The role youll contribute:

Collaborates with medical and clinical leaders to coordinate clinical excellence in stroke-care across the facility.

The value youll bring to the team:

Works with team to identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care

Performs quality assurance studies and assists with the implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives

Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements

May assist with the marketing and advertising of programs and services

Functions as a key decision maker for the interdisciplinary teams responsible for monitoring and improving program performance _ _Facilitates the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community, and emergency medical services _ _Guides interdisciplinary team members in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the stroke program _ _Assists in ensuring a high level of data accuracy and quality for stroke program reporting _ _Works with community and professional organizations to further education and awareness about stroke prevention and treatment _ _Provides outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :

Five years of Clinical experience

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN), Critical Care Nursing (CCRN), or NIHSS certification

Current valid State license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
