Tig Welder We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, possess strong attention to detail, and be capable of working with a variety of metals. The TIG Welder will be responsible for welding components and structures, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Set up welding machines based on the job specifications and materials to be welded.
- Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools to clean, prepare, and finish welds.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Perform quality control inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues as they arise.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in welding technology preferred.
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
- In-depth knowledge of TIG welding techniques and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform welding tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Full Time
- Pay Rate is $18 - $26 per hour
- 1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm
- Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
