Senior Consultant - Dynamics 365 F&O

An experienced Senior Consultant will play a crucial role within the Enterprise Business Applications team. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including discovery, requirements gathering, process documentation, configuration, and implementation management for various business applications such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and related areas, serving as a key resource for our clients in finance, product distribution, manufacturing, job costing, field service, sales, marketing, service, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities: • Document the current state of enterprise business applications, along with related business processes and impacted personas. • Identify existing inefficiencies, potential improvement opportunities, and crucial differentiating business requirements. • Envision and develop representations of recommended future state options for client evaluation. • Understand related security structures and adhere to best practices. • Design and develop scorecards for evaluating candidate business applications. • Create dashboard presentations featuring quantitative and qualitative scoring of candidate options. • Provide functional clarifications and set expectations with the team and the client, supporting Technical Leads, Developers, and Managers. Solution Functional Design: • Perform functional (business process) solution design within the context of business applications (ERP, CRM, and related) to maximize business value, deliver strong business agility, and meet applicable requirements and constraints.

Consulting: • Gain a deep understanding of client needs, analyze best practices, and play a vital role in defining and proposing business value solutions that meet or exceed client expectations. Program & Project Management: • Support and manage aspects of business applications implementations. • Document and maintain project milestones, phases, elements, and budget. • Monitor project progress by tracking risks, actions, issues, decisions, and other activities. • Develop user references by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support, and offering user training.

Implementation and Support: • Manage and resolve issues, defects, and change requests. • Perform systems configuration tasks (excluding coding/development) for process workstreams as directed. • Offer ongoing support during project implementations and post-go-live support. • Responsible for configuring solutions based on requirements. • Cultivate a positive demeanor, a learning attitude, and a client service mentality within the team.
