Dinning Room Attendant

Cumberland Village is a Premier Independent Senior Living community that offers our resident a full, restaurant made-to-order menu, and delivers high quality service with care. We are currently looking for Servers for various shift. Interested candidate must
must have a kind and understanding demeanor, the ability to multi-task, work well in a team setting, and respond to the needs of our residents in a timely manner.
Customer service or a general passion for working with senior citizens is a plus.
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
Prepare meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
Taking orders and delivering them to the tables accurately.
Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
Discard leftovers and take out garbage
Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience as a Server
Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions.
Friendly with good communications skills.
Good Physical condition and stamina.
Certification in food services is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Senior Living experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 40 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
Must be able to bend, stoop.
Must frequently immerse hands in water.
