We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Sales Engineer to prospect and engage customers in an exclusive and protected sales territory.We are seeking a highly motivated individual with proven presentation skills and demonstrate effective sales methods. As a Sales Engineer, you will be focused on developing new business within an assigned territory as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers. You will build excellent client relationships and drive sales results. Use your sales expertise to help our customers realize their business goals with product solutions you're proud to deliver. Autonomy, drive and desire to win are paramount. We are looking for someone to take ownership of the entire sales cycle.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers.Meet or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions, and obtain detailed information for estimates and proposalsMaintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations and other related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgetsPossess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines presented by the companyUtilize Salesforce.com (CRM) for all prospecting and customer activitiesQualificationsSkills and Qualifications:BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experiencePrevious outside sales experience with manufactured equipment is preferredStrong professional communication and presentation skillsInnovative approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a results-based environment.Effective closerMechanical/technical aptitude preferredComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as experience in using CRM software.Must have a valid driver's license, reliable automobile transportation and current auto insuranceCompensation:In return for experience and results, Yamazen Inc. provides competitive compensation including an attractive base salary, uncapped tiered commissions that increase as sales grow, auto fuel reimbursement and a business allowance to offset transportation and communication costs.Yamazens benefits include:Company paid medical, dental, vision, short- & long-term disability and life insurance401K with company matchAutomobile purchase discount programYamazen is an equal opportunity employment company.
