The HR Generalist role at the Ogden location provides support for approximately 700 hourly, temporary, and administrative employees, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance and employee satisfaction throughout the plant.

You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Develop and execute training programs from management team members and hourly employees that drive improved performance and resultsAssist in the recruiting for hourly and administrative employeesDevelop performance management and improvement systemsEmployee New Hire O rientation and developmentManage an employee reward system for employeesWork with HR Manager on employee relations issues for the facilityAssist in the design and management of programs and policies that support the orderly operation of the facilities: work rules, plant-wide job bid system, accommodation requests, light duty work, and attendance programsEnsure compliance with governmental regulations to include FMLA, ADA, FLSA, AAP, and other regulation that impact the operation of the facilitiesCoordinate employee activities that drive positive employee relationsOther duties as assigned Important Details:

Supports approximately 700(+) employees in the plant. This is a full-time on-site role supporting plant human resources needs predominantly on 1st shift with schedule flexing between all shifts occasionally required .

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business-related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment preferredSpanish speaking a plus but not requiredStrong knowledge of and experience in HR Information Systems such as WorkdayStrong communication skills at all levels of managementStrong leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to set effective priorities.
