Job Summary As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods and materials from our suppliers to our stores. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to our stores, while also maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards. You will work closely with our suppliers, warehouse team, and store managers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs - Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts - Oversee the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to our stores - Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet customer demand - Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure proper storage and handling of products - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the supply chain process - Analyze data and identify areas for improvement in the logistics process - Train and supervise logistics staff to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures - Develop and maintain a strong network of transportation partners and carriers - Stay updated on industry trends and developments to make informed decisions for the company Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the retail industry - Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions - Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office - Strong leadership and team management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills We Offer - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - A supportive and collaborative work environment - Training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge - Employee discounts at our stores If you are a highly motivated and experienced logistics professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply for this position.
