Midland is seeking an individual who can work collaboratively with operations management, accounting and asset management in reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting division financial statements for the purpose of identifying & recommending opportunities to improve and control costs and manage credit risk. Some of the key responsibilities for this role would be as follows: Perform trend analysis to identify underlying drivers and opportunities to reduce costs and manage credit risk Analyze Midland’s cost structure compared to other servicers in the industry Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities related to mortgage servicing operational costs and losses Collaborate with the asset management and acquisition department to support forecasting functions related to mortgage servicing operational costs and credit risk **This position is onsite

offering hybrid or remote** Position Requirements: 3+ years of work related experience in analytics, forecasting, and reporting

Preferred experience in accounting related functions

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a 3.25 GPA Proficient in MS Excel and Access Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills In-depth knowledge of reporting concepts and analysis techniques Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills Experience in managing large amounts of data from various sources Ability to exercise discretion and judgment and make independent decisions A strong willingness to learn, adapt, and actively contribute to the success of the organization Ability to work independently and with inquisitiveness Qualifications
