Job Summary
The Certification Expert - Aquatic Product will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the R&D and export departments to develop, improve, and promote water products tailored for the US market. This role demands a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor dynamics, and US-specific product certifications like NSF/ANSI/FDA. The expert will also provide essential technical support and training to the sales team, ensuring products align with market demands and regulatory standards. A background in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering, combined with hands-on experience in the water treatment industry, is crucial for success in this position.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Determine and coordinate certification test requirements with the appropriate external agency.
- Oversee the scheduling of external certification testing and review legitimacy of testing data.
- Oversee the maintenance of certification test data database records.
- Review technical literature to insure conformance to standards requirement.
- Assist in the drafting expert testimony in response to pending issues being addressed in the manufacturing industry.
- Actively participate in industry wide meetings involving rule making activities with ANSI, ASHRAE, SCAQMD, ASME, DOE, AHRI, IAPMO, NFGC, NSF, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields is required. Master's degree will be a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in certifying drinking water products in the US market.
- In-depth understanding of the water treatment industry, including relevant technological trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with the product certification process and requirements in the US market (such as NSF/ANSI standards etc.).
- Possess excellent project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills (at a local level); able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
