We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves providing project planning, execution, and coordination for upgrading existing central tank batteries to new emissions standard designs, consolidating mature facilities to centralized facilities, and converting facilities to closed loop/tankless systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities engineering within the upstream oil and gas sector, excellent project management skills, and a keen understanding of engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and coordinate projects aimed at upgrading existing central tank batteries to comply with new emissions standards.
  • Consolidate mature facilities to centralized facilities.
  • Convert facilities to closed loop/tankless systems.
  • Apply company and regulatory design standards to ensure all facilities are constructed in compliance with required specifications.
  • Coordinate across multiple disciplines to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (petroleum, chemical, mechanical, civil preferred; other disciplines will be considered).

Must-Have Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in project planning, execution, and coordination for upgrading facilities to new emissions standards.
  • Application of APA Engineering & Closed Vent Study (CVS) design standards.
  • Strong planning and communication skills for effective coordination across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines and with various stakeholders.
  • Experience with plant and facilities engineering is highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in facilities engineering, particularly within the upstream oil and gas sector.

Preferred Experience:

  • Upstream oil and gas plant and facilities experience.
  • Experience in consolidating and converting facilities to centralized and closed loop/tankless systems.
