What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Monday - Friday with shift start time between 4:00 am - 7:45 am. Schedule given in advance. The candidate will work a weekend every 4-6 weeks, some holidays and weekend on call about once every 2 months. Volunteer on call work during the week as it is available. Candidate must be flexible based on business need.ResponsibilitiesPrepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containersUses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation Processes packages returned from customer locationsMaintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairsPerforms general facility cleaning and other duties as requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferredMust hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving recordPrior delivery driving experience a plusAbility to lift containers weighing up to 75 poundsComfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hoursAbility to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of timeStrong customer service and communication skillsFlexibility to work various shifts or overtime as neededAbility to use computers and tabletsA Covid-19 vaccination or a legitimate accommodation is required in order to be employed in this position.
