The Raytheon team is looking for a Scrum Master for an agile Electronic Protection team to support the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) department. The MDS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation. Some specific responsibilities include:
- Capability/Feature Design for Arbitrary Waveform Generation
- Requirements development and detailed design packages
- Prepare briefings for customer working groups and PDR presentations
- Support of Agile Team(s) software development including requirement explanation, Q&A handling, and performance analysis of feature implementation to gauge whether the feature is complete and meetings design expectations.
- Create and coordinate team meetings, sprint planning and reviews, retrospectives and standups
- Verify backlog readiness for planning and execution
- Identify and champion resolution of impediments
- Track and report team agile metrics
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in field of engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems, Radar Systems or signal processing techniques
- Experience with developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and tools
- Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
- Experience working with Matlab, C/C++, Java or DOORS
- Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
- Experience with radar system concepts; detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
- Experience with the development and coding of system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools in support of analyzing radar requirements and performance
- Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design and enhancement
- Previous military service
- Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs
- Strong analytic, technical and problem-solving skills
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
