Responsibilities:

*Receive incoming raw stock and verify material against documentation for identification and accuracy of quantity.

*Load and unload trucks and move raw materials to the proper location.

*Identify and code raw material and operate saw to cut the stock to dimensional specifications.

*Issue jobs per the schedule and update shop floor, MRP, and other systems.

*Identify parts using simple and proper identification methods and equipment indicated by the traveler and/or blueprint.

*Lay out exact dimensions and locations on the parts for identification markings.

*Prepare parts and/or materials to assure safe handling for shipment including the completion of the necessary paperwork and shipping records and maintenance of a shipping log.

*Prepare packaging per specifications for shipment including computer input for necessary labels, forms and shipping records.

*Receive shipments at receiving dock and forward materials to the appropriate team.

*Weigh or count incoming/outbound parts or materials.

*Receive material, check, and identify parts by type or part number.

*Prepare parts for storage and place stock in

*Perform cycle inventory count.

*Maintain and access necessary records utilizing a computer.

*Using various cleaning and degreasing methods, clean and remove oil and contamination from parts and equipment according to proper procedures and specifications.

*Oil parts to prevent rust and corrosion.

* Following traveler/route sheet instructions, move parts between functions or teams using a forklift or other moving devices.

* Package or repackage parts to prevent damage during movement or handling.

* Request and stage tooling required to support team schedules.

* Audit material storage areas to support inventory location and count accuracy.

* Observe all safety rules and regulations and maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition.

*Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

*High school diploma/GED

*1+ years related experience

Skills and Knowledge:

*General knowledge of computer terminal operations.

*May be required to operate moving equipment and saw equipment and meet OSHA safety qualifications.

*May require a forklift operator certificate.

*Must demonstrate manual dexterity.

*Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

*Ability to read and understand related forms and specifications.

*May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

*Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilidades:

*Recibir stock en bruto entrante y verificar el material con la documentacin para la identificacin y precisin de la cantidad.

*Establezca las dimensiones y ubicaciones exactas de las piezas para las marcas de identificacin.

*Preparar piezas y/o materiales para asegurar un manejo seguro para el envo, incluida la finalizacin de la documentacin necesaria y registros de envo y el mantenimiento de un registro de envo.

*Preparar el embalaje segn las especificaciones para el envo, incluida la entrada por computadora para las etiquetas, formularios y registros de envo necesarios.

*Recibir envos en el muelle de recepcin y remitir materiales al equipo correspondiente.

*Pesar o contar piezas o materiales entrantes/salientes.

*Recibir material, verificar e identificar piezas por tipo o nmero de pieza.

*Preparar piezas para almacenamiento y colocar stock en

*Realizar conteo cclico de inventario.

*Mantiene y accede a registros necesarios utilizando una computadora.

*Utilizando diversos mtodos de limpieza y desengrasado, limpie y elimine el aceite y la contaminacin de piezas y equipos de acuerdo con los procedimientos y especificaciones adecuados.

*Aceite las piezas para evitar la oxidacin y la corrosin.

* Siguiendo las instrucciones del viajero/hoja de ruta, mueva piezas entre funciones o equipos usando un montacargas u otros dispositivos mviles.

* Empaquetar o reempaquetar piezas para evitar daos durante el movimiento o manipulacin.
