ICON Custom Home Builder, LLC, a premier residential custom home construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. As a leader in the custom home industry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality and bespoke designs to our clients. The CFO will play a critical role in steering the financial strategy and operations of the company, ensuring sustained growth and profitability.
Job Description:
As CFO, you will oversee the financial operations of ICON Custom Home Builder, LLC, managing all fiscal activities including accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis, and negotiations. You will be a key member of the executive management team, reporting directly to the CEO and assisting with the financial strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Define and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with its overall business goals.
- Financial Operations: Oversee all company accounting practices, including preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor financial performance, analyzing results and initiating corrective actions to align with business goals.
- Compliance and Control: Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, maintaining impeccable records.
- Intercompany Management: Manage and optimize intercompany financial transactions and ensure appropriate reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
- Risk Management: Analyze and manage the organization’s liabilities and investments, and evaluate fundraising plans and capital structure.
- Treasury and Capital Management: Oversee cash flow planning and asset management, exploring new investment opportunities.
- Financial IT Systems: Oversee the development and implementation of financial management systems and controls.
- Team Management and Development: Manage the finance department staff, guiding and developing organizational finance team skills.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team, external partners, and vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction or real estate development industry.
- Proven track record of financial management and leadership skills.
- Proficient in using finance software and MS Office, with strong capabilities in financial management tools.

- Deep understanding of profit margins, cost control, and managing financial risks.
