CORPORATE QUALITY ENGINEER .

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for manufacturing Quality Control compliance to ISO and IATF
Responsible for Continuous Improvement initiatives to Quality Control
Supports Various plant locations to develop APQP document (Process Flow, PFMEA and Control Plan)
Working with management, Provides Rationale, Cost and ROI analysis on manufacturing plans by product
Supports plant with failure analysis related to manufacturing and determining cause
Prepares and maintains documentation of new and modified manufacturing processes
Assists in the In-process and final Assembly inspection activities as required
Strong knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, CAPAS)
Manages the Quality Management System of the entity (QMS)
Develops inspection methods to analyze product quality
Improves product quality by making recommendations for change
Brainstorms ideas to create solutions for identified problems
Formulates a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business
Assists in internal Audits, documents results and findings
Implements a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years experience within a Quality Engineering role is required
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required. Engineering Degree is highly preferred
Automotive experience is required
CQE CERTIFICATION
Experience in a quality assurance environment is required
High proficiency in computer technology and systems operations
In-depth understanding of industry market trends and conditions (Automotive, Logistics, 3PL, highly preferred)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Ability to travel (75%+) based on business needs, providing multi-location support
