Position Summary: The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources department by managing and executing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a broad understanding of HR practices and procedures, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. The HR Generalist will work closely with management and employees to foster a positive work environment, ensure adherence to company policies, and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Requirements
Essential Duties:
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Oversee performance management processes, including annual reviews, goal setting, and employee development.
- Conduct employee relation investigations and resolve issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Work with outside firms on yearly plans (e.g., insurance broker, vendors, legal firms).
- Responsible for the HRIS system (e.g., Paylocity) and accurate record keeping.
- Assist in coordinating employee development plans and performance management.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Possess a high level of personal and professional ethics and integrity
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- HR Experience in a manufacturing company

- Experience working with various HR Metrics & Dashboards
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, stand, bend, kneel, twist and move without restrictions
- Must be able to listen and speak clearly and effectively
- Must be able to effectively present & speak in front of various size groups
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Work under high pressure and safety sensitive situations
